Until the end of the year 2020 remains only a few weeks. Developmental centre of the company ZK Žerníček metalworking has won the order, which belongs to the hardest ones… At this moment, we are about to finish the development of logistics pallets. This order is concentrated on a new SUV, which should be the best- selling car in the next year.

The development of a transport pallet is always a complicated process. This responsibility mainly belongs to constructional department and skilful developers, who react to the demands, which come from the car manufacturer Škoda auto. The major coordinator of the project is at the same time the main designer engineer. He always has to find some suitable solutions, so they would comply with the demands of the customer, but he also has to keep in mind subsequent execution in the manufacturing. At the beginning, we use all accessible new constructional programs- as for example Solid Works and CATIA V5. Without current new versions, this development would have been impossible. That is the way, how the new models of metal logistics pallets are manufactured. Afterwards, we can move to the manufacturing. The manufacturing is based on the skills of the locksmiths, but also on the new modern technologies. These days burning fiber lasers and profiled lasers are essential part of the manufacture. This burning lasers are necessary for the manufacture. Serial manufacture fully uses his burning lasers, but they also use welding robots. Thank to this modern technologies, is the manufacturing time minimal.

Lasers and robots work precisely and flawless. The next step is powder lacquering in automatic paint shop and assembly of pallets. In view of the fact, that these metal pallets are all the time in a robotic line, they must be manufactured with exactness + – 2mm. Towards, ZK Žerníček metalworking is using a new technology in the 3D form of measure scanning device 3D HANDY SCAN. Every metal pallet has its own measuring protocol. Since the metal weldment weighs 700 Kg, is it a difficult task.
